About Face is a youth transformation and healing initiative that helps middle‑ and high‑school students confront harmful patterns, build emotional resilience, and develop healthier ways of thinking and behaving. The program guides participants through a structured process of “turning around” — facing their realities, acknowledging their experiences, and choosing new, empowered directions for their lives. Students engage in expressive arts (dance, visual art, journaling, and singing), guided roundtable discussions, and targeted workshops that address identity, self‑worth, peer pressure, conflict, and emotional regulation.

About The Event Organizer

Command & Occupy is led by Deborah, a dance instructor, arts leader, and founder of Deborah & Company. She carries a heart for worship, healing, and creative expression, and has spent years building spaces where movement, prayer, and community transformation meet. Through her work across the DMV and beyond, Deborah equips people to rise in identity, authority, and purpose — creating gatherings that are both deeply spiritual and beautifully organized.

Vend Your Vision

Command & Occupy is welcoming a select group of vendors to join us for this powerful two‑day gathering, featuring the official launch of About Face, our new empowerment track for girls ages 11–17.
We are seeking vendors whose products uplift, equip, and inspire — including dancewear, flags, garments, accessories, journals, ministry tools, youth‑centered items, beauty and wellness products, and creative arts resources.
This event brings together families, youth, dance ministries, and leaders from across the region, offering a vibrant space to showcase your brand and connect with a purpose‑driven community.
If your products support movement, empowerment, or ministry, we’d love to have you join us at Command & Occupy.
